" ... the time signature is in fact 6/4, as confirmed by the melody's total span of sixty beats (not a multiple of four)."

How is 60 not a multiple of 4?  🤦🏻‍♂️
​Coleman's "Cud Ba-Rith" melody is indeed sixty beats, which can be ten bars of 6/4 or fifteen bars of 4/4.
